2014 CAbernet Sauvignon

This vintage is especially significant as it was the last vintage created by Joan Teachworth, whose vision elevated every part of our estate.

This wine has a lovely dark garnet ruby color with excellent clarity, reminiscent of a fine Claret. There is just a touch of Napa inkiness to the hue, the intensity of which separates it from Bordeaux. On the nose, lifted aromatics of cinnamon, clove, and baking spice perfectly compliment this holiday season and are followed by the unmistakably Teachworth profile of plum, bramble berries, and a touch of gunpowder. The effect of which is rich and intoxicating. On the palate those lifted aromatics are followed by clean acidity that flows through the finish and broadens the cherry spice character. Tannins that have been carefully, patiently managed in our cellar, broaden out the finish and leave you with just a touch of grip and heft. Toasted brioche and blackberry custard linger on the finish completing the experience. Drink now through the next five years.

2018 Rosé of Pinot Noir

This Rosé marks the first new addition to the Teachworth wines lineup in almost 20 years. Following in our tradition of crafting outstanding Cabernet, we welcome an exciting foray into Pinot Noir!

With a beautiful salmon pink hue, distinctive floral aromas and strawberry undertones, this wine makes for a wonderful summer sipper. Six months of barrel aging impart a weight that balances the natural acidity.

2013 MANZANITA HILL CAbernet Sauvignon

This wine exhibits the rich flavor, depth of character, and length that Napa Valley is known for.  Ripe black cherry, chocolate, and a hint of cayenne spice leaves a long finish that begs you to take another sip.  A wine that is drinking exceptionally well now and will age gracefully for a decade to come.

2013 RATTLESNAKE RIDGE CAbernet Sauvignon

More restrained and complex, this wine is more reminiscent of a first growth Bordeaux than a wine from California.  Licorice, clove, and red fruit balance with elegance.  Although this wine is drinking great now, it will only improve and I would recommend cellaring for an additional 2-10 years.

2013 ESTATE CAbernet Sauvignon

According to Wine Spectator, the 2013 vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon was “an ideal season—dry conditions and a long, sunny summer.” This wine is more reminiscent of a first growth Bordeaux than a wine from California. While it is drinking great now, it will only improve with age. We recommend cellaring for an additional 2-10 years.
